# Import database query results

Revstack allows you to streamline your systematic review process by importing search results directly from major bibliographic databases such as PubMed and Web of Science. This feature helps you efficiently gather relevant documents and begin your review with minimal manual effort.

## Add your database query results

To import query results into your collection, follow these steps:

{% stepper %}
{% step %}
Navigate to your collection and click on the "Add a new database query" button.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
Choose the source database (e.g., PubMed, Web of Science).
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
Enter the search query and specify the date when the query was executed.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
Upload the search results file in the supported format (e.g., .csv for PubMed, .xlsx for Web of Science).
{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}

Once imported, Revstack will automatically process the records, identifying key metadata such as title, authors, abstract, and publication year. Any duplicate entries will be flagged for review in the Document section (see [Manage duplicates](/docs/getting-started/manage-duplicates.md)).
